• Have you ever wanted to walk on a glacier?
  • Have you ever wanted to look into a crevasse?
  • Have you ever wanted to jump over a crevasse?
  • Have you ever wanted to walk with crampons?

If you have answered YES to any of these questions then a glacier hike is exactly the right thing for you. You don't need to be a professional climber or to have experience with crampons or ice axes but you should have the stamina to walk for 4 - 5 hours.

Information: In summer many glaciers are free of snow. For that reason the crevasses are visible and they are not dangerous anymore because they are not hidden. In summer the surface of the glaciers is rough which gives a nice grip to walk easily with crampons over the glacier. Very often rock goats, marmots and jackdaws can be seen on the way to the glacier. Besides crevasses, a middle moraine, creeks, glacier mills, glacier lakes and glacier tables can be found. Walk time 4 - 5 hours, CHF 520.00.

The fee is for the mountain guide, doesn't include any further services and is good for 1 to 2 people, for or every additional person a fee of CHF 40.00 per person will be charged.
